Job Title : Technician
Pay Rate:30.00$
Location: Temecula, CA
Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 PM (1st shift)
1:30 pm - 10:00 Pm (2nd Shift)
9:00 pm - 5:30 Am. (3rd shift)

Responsibilities

Identify and escalate productivity or quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
Take initiative in continuous improvement efforts, including scrap reduction, cycle time improvements, and setup reduction.
Order production tooling, materials, and supply items as needed.
Coordinate with external resources such as manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, or equipment support services.
Build effective working relationships with operators, group leads, and department support staff.
Perform full teardown and setup for extruders and co-extruders.
Maintain extruders according to established cycle times and process parameters.
Read and interpret tooling prints, part prints, processes, and documentation.
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Conduct precise manufacturing part inspections.
Use quality tools effectively, including gauges, micrometers, rulers, and scopes.
Troubleshoot basic processing issues (e.g., O.D., I.D., ovality, concentricity, foreign material, etc.).
Understand material properties and how they impact product quality and processing.
Perform basic maintenance on extruders and auxiliary equipment such as dryers, melt filters, blow-off tables, cutters, and pullers.


Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of extrusion experience, including tooling, equipment troubleshooting, and machine/process setups.
Experience working in a GMP environment.
Proficiency with computers and basic software applications.


Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or 2-year technical degree.
Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.
