Job Summary

A growing engineering services organization in Portland, OR is seeking a Technical Recruiter with experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, or engineering hiring needs. This contract opportunity is ideal for a recruiter with 3 to 5 years of experience who understands technical talent markets and can partner effectively with engineering leaders to identify, engage, and hire qualified candidates.

The Technical Recruiter will support recruiting efforts for a large engineering environment, helping connect skilled professionals with opportunities in the semiconductor and electronics space. This role offers the chance to work with collaborative hiring teams, contribute to high-impact staffing goals, and build strong relationships across a specialized technical talent community.

Key Responsibilities

- Source, screen, and recruit technical candidates for semiconductor, electronics, and engineering-related positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, timelines, and hiring priorities.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate outreach, screening, interview coordination, feedback follow-up, and offer support.
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified engineering and technical talent.
- Use recruiting tools, job boards, professional networks, and direct sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates.
- Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication, accurate role information, and professional follow-through.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $87,000.00 per year.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.

- Recruit technical professionals for semiconductor, electronics, and engineering positions.

- Support high-volume or specialized technical recruiting needs in a large engineering environment.

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter or in a similar recruiting role.
- Experience recruiting within the semiconductor, electronics, or related engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of technical job requirements and engineering candidate profiles.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced contract recruiting environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience recruiting for electrical engineering, electronics engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, or hardware engineering roles.
- Prior experience supporting a large engineering services or technology-driven organization.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting workflow tools.
- Strong network of technical professionals in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
