Our client, a leading company in the engineering sector, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to join their Engineering Services team. This role is crucial for managing and maintaining technical documentation, creating and maintaining technical manuals, and performing standard engineering document management assignments and processes.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain technical documentation
Create and maintain technical manuals
Create and maintain master data in SyteLine ERP-System
Control and manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Processes and Production Documentation
Create and maintain Bills of Materials using business system software
Handle special projects as required
Interface with engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to successfully fulfill the above duties and responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned


Required Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of bills of materials structure, engineering principles, concepts, theories, and practices
Ability to read and understand the organization and structure of technical documents, assembly prints, and parts lists
Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator)
Preferred experience with manipulating data in ERP systems. SyteLine system knowledge is a plus
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to climb stairs, sit, keyboard, file, see, hear, and read/speak English fluently
Education:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

Documented US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status
