Our Client is looking for a Senior Telecommunications Technical Support Engineer to jump into the deep end of carrier-grade networks—solving tough problems, killing outages, and keeping global networks online.

?? What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Daily Boss Battles)

Tackle Tier II & Tier III remote support like the seasoned pro you are
Debug complex, multi-platform network issues and find the real root cause
Restore service when things go sideways (and they will)
Support large-scale, sometimes global, network incidents
Test and validate new hardware, software, and releases
Document systems, configs, procedures, and lessons learned
Log all the nerdy details in ticketing systems (future you will thank you)
Mentor fellow engineers and share your telecom wisdom
Stay ahead of telecom tech trends and suggest improvements


?? The Tech Stack You’ll Live In
You should be extremely comfortable with:
? Nokia / Alcatel-Lucent - 7450 ESS; 7750 SR; 7950 XRS
? MPLS, IP Services, Switched Ethernet
? EMS systems, NMS, and monitoring tools
? Tracing issues across multiple platforms without panic


?? What Makes You a Great Fit

10+ years doing OEM-level telecom troubleshooting
Carrier or OEM network experience
Can work with documentation—or survive without it
Sharp analytical skills and obsessive attention to detail
Strong communicator who can explain complex issues clearly
Comfortable documenting, training, and guiding others
Solid computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Willing to jump on an on-call rotation (because networks don’t sleep)


?? Education (Nice to Have, Not a Deal Breaker)

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, IT, CS, or related field
Electronics or Engineering certifications are a bonus
