Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Team Lead for a direct hire opportunity in Cayey, PR, supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. This role is ideal for a bilingual manufacturing professional who is ready to lead daily production activities, coach team members, and help drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
The Team Lead will play a key role in building a high-performing production team while partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and EHS. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, schedule attainment, and operational goals are met.
- Supervise, coach, and support production employees through clear direction, feedback, training, and performance guidance.
- Conduct Daily Direction Setting meetings and communicate priorities, production targets, and operational updates.
- Monitor production performance, equipment effectiveness, output, and process compliance to identify and resolve issues.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Operations teams to support root cause resolution and continuous improvement.
- Support hiring, onboarding, workforce training plans, employee development, and compliance with ISO, OSHA, GMP, and company procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead production teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Drive daily operational execution, production performance, safety, and quality outcomes.
- Conduct team meetings, communicate production priorities, and support employee training and development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve manufacturing performance.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- 2 to 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, shift lead, or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related technical field preferred.
- Availability to complete a 3-month training program in Europe.
- Strong communication, coaching, leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or 5S methodologies.
- Experience managing production teams and driving performance metrics.
- Strong employee development, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, OSHA regulations, GMP requirements, and operational excellence practices.
