Overview:
We are seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic educators to join our early childhood program in multiple full-time roles. Openings include Infant Lead Teacher, Infant Assistant Teacher, Two-Year-Old Assistant Teacher, and Lead Three-Year-Old Teacher. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children’s growth and development in a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans to support children’s developmental needs
Maintain classroom management and supervise assistant staff
Partner with parents to ensure strong communication and collaboration
Track and document student attendance, performance, and activities
Support meal/snack times, outdoor play, and daily routines
Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and improvement
Assist with opening/closing procedures for the school

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities (Infant & Two-Year-Old):
Support lead teachers in daily instruction, activities, and classroom setup
Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and engagement throughout the day
Perform routine caregiving tasks including diapering, feeding, and potty training (as applicable)
Conduct daily health checks and maintain documentation through Brightwheel
Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages trust, exploration, and social-emotional growth
Prepare and organize age-appropriate activities, art projects, and play centers
Maintain classroom cleanliness, sanitization, and organization
Step in to assist or lead activities when needed

Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old
Lead Teacher (Infant & Three-Year-Old): CDA or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education required; Bachelor’s in Education or related field strongly preferred; 2–3+ years of classroom experience required
Assistant Teacher: Early childhood certification and/or 2+ years of preschool/childcare experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Passion for early childhood education and child development

Additional Requirements:
Must pass fingerprinting and Virginia background check (processed in-house)
Ability to adhere to state regulations, health codes, and organizational training standards
Business casual dress code
