Tax Services Specialist

You’ll assist clients with payroll tax matters, troubleshoot issues, delivering exceptional client service and accurate tax support.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality customer service to clients through phone, email, chat, and other communication platforms.
Document all interactions thoroughly and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure resolution within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Maintain a strong working knowledge of products, policies, and procedures.
Manage multiple priorities with daily time-sensitive responsibilities.
Support both internal and external clients through tasks such as:
Completing payments and filings
Assisting with tax agency account registrations
Researching and resolving tax notices
Performing data entry, spreadsheet management, and data verification
Utilize various systems such as HRIS, Oracle, MasterTax, Prism, Salesforce, BNA, ClientSpace, and Microsoft Office (training provided if needed).
Demonstrate the core values of Integrity, Service, Innovation, Partnership, Accountability, and Respect.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2+ years of professional work experience; prior payroll or tax experience strongly preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail, with strong emphasis on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to manage multiple systems and handle competing priorities effectively.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Comfort using online knowledge bases and research tools.
