Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant to manage the preparation and review of Puerto Rico and Federal tax returns, support client relationships, and contribute to tax planning and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, trust, sales, and quarterly tax returns (PR & Federal).
• Conduct tax planning, research technical issues, and resolve IRS and Hacienda notices.
• Maintain tax calendars and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
• Assist with bookkeeping and provide support in training junior staff.
• Maintain and develop client relationships through excellent service.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field.
• 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
