Role Overview
This role supports a professional services firm’s Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team within the Tax Support function. The Tax Processing Associate provides administrative and operational support for tax return processing and delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established tax guidelines.
This is a high-volume, onsite role requiring strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and flexibility to work extended hours during peak tax periods.

Key Responsibilities
• Process and deliver tax returns in accordance with established federal, state, and local guidelines
• Log, track, assemble, print, scan, and electronically save tax documents
• Monitor tax-processing Outlook mailboxes and respond to requests promptly
• Follow tax methodology requirements and practice-specific policies
• Maintain accuracy and quality while handling repetitive, time-sensitive tasks
• Collaborate with team members to meet strict deadlines
• Identify process improvements to enhance service quality
• Work overtime and weekends during peak processing periods

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong sense of urgency with excellent attention to detail
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
o Adobe Acrobat
o Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Fast learner comfortable working with both electronic and paper-based systems
• Mandatory availability for overtime and weekend work (August–November)
• Minimum 1+ year of related administrative or processing experience (tax experience preferred)
• High school diploma with some college coursework or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work onsite

• High-volume processing experience with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with tax-related technology platforms (e.g., document management or workflow systems)
• Ability to work independently and proactively
