We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Tax Preparer to join our team on a year-round basis, with bilingual Spanish required. This role is ideal for someone who not only prepares accurate individual (1040) and business (1120/1065) tax returns but also enjoys reviewing others’ work, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to overall team growth. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, managing e-files and follow-ups, and communicating professionally with clients regarding their tax situations. You will collaborate closely with the CPA and administrative team, assist in improving internal processes, and maintain strict confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of tax preparation experience, strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws, proficiency with Drake Tax Software or similar, and active PTIN and CTEC certification.
