We are seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and client-focused Bilingual Spanish Tax Preparer to join our team on a year-round basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who not only prepares accurate tax returns but is also enthusiastic about reviewing work, mentoring team members, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, hold an active CTEC certification, and be comfortable working with both individual and small business clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals and small businesses
• Review tax returns prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness
• Identify applicable deductions, credits, and tax-saving strategies for clients
• Ensure all client documentation is complete and accurate prior to filing
• E-file returns and manage follow-ups or corrections as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their tax situations, questions, and documentation
• Collaborate with the CPA and administrative team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
• Train, mentor, and support junior staff or interns as needed
• Assist with improving internal processes and client service initiatives year-round
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of tax preparation experience
• Experience preparing both individual (1040) and business returns (1120/1065)
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Active CTEC certification required
• Active PTIN registration
• Ability to review and verify the work of other tax preparers
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures
• Experience using Drake Tax Software or similar tax preparation platforms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills
• Willingness to train and mentor junior staff

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with tax resolution or back tax filings
• Interest in growing into a leadership or supervisory role
