As a Tax Manager specializing in High Net Worth, Estate, and Trust clients, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers comprehensive tax planning and compliance services. This role requires deep expertise in complex tax issues, a strategic mindset, and strong leadership to oversee tax return preparation and client advisory.
The Tax Manager provides strategic tax planning advice tailored to High Net Worth clients, focusing on tax minimization and compliance as well as conducting in-depth research and analysis of complex tax laws and regulations, ensuring up-to-date guidance for clients.
In this role you will review and supervise preparation of High Net Worth, Estate, and Trust tax returns with a high degree of accuracy and compliance as well as advise on tax issues related to privately held Corporations, S Corporations, and Partnerships, including state tax compliance and consulting.
The Tax Manager will understand and manage the interplay between individual, corporate, and owner tax regulations and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to resolve tax issues and implement effective strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree Master’s in Taxation preferred.
CPA required; Enrolled Agent (EA) candidates may be considered.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in High Net Worth, Estate, and Trust tax management, preferably in a public accounting firm.
Strong proficiency with tax software and accounting tools such as CCH Axcess and Thomson Reuters UltraTax.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws affecting High Net Worth individuals and entities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional client visits.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Salary range: $119,000 - $133,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office.
