Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our organization’s tax compliance, planning, and reporting. If you enjoy navigating complex tax regulations, developing smart tax strategies, and ensuring accuracy across all filings, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

As our Tax Manager, you’ll guide the full tax lifecycle — from preparing returns to advising internal teams — while staying current on evolving federal, state, and local tax laws. You’ll play a key role in optimizing financial efficiency, supporting audits, and ensuring our organization remains compliant and well-informed.

What You’ll Do
Prepare and review simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses.

Calculate taxes owed or overpaid and complete all required tax forms accurately.

Apply all eligible adjustments, deductions, and credits to minimize tax liability.

Interview clients to gather information on income, deductions, and allowances.

Review financial documents such as income statements and expense records to determine required forms.

Provide clear guidance to taxpayers to ensure proper form completion.

Research tax laws and procedures for unique or complex return situations.

Support audit processes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Determine preparation fees based on return complexity and time required.

Review tax forms prepared by others to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What You Bring
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to evaluate multiple solutions.

Comfort solving complex problems using logic, research, and sound judgment.

Solid mathematical skills and confidence working with detailed financial data.

Deep understanding of tax regulations, filing requirements, and accounting principles.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized workflows.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
You’ll join a team that values expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This role offers the chance to shape tax processes, contribute to financial strategy, and stay at the forefront of tax law developments — all while working in a supportive and professional environment.

If you're ready to bring your tax expertise to a role where your impact truly matters, we’d love to connect with you. Pleas send in your resume! We are only able to consider local candidates at this time as we need them onsite.
