Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Tax Manager to join their team and help lead our tax department.
This individual will play a critical role in reviewing tax returns, providing strategic planning advice, and mentoring staff, all while maintaining compliance with evolving tax laws. If you're a CPA with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, we encourage you to apply.
Tax Expertise: Stay informed on current tax laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date guidance for clients and the firm. Return Reviews: Oversee the preparation and review of a wide range of tax returns, including corporate, individual, partnership, trust, estate, and nonprofit entities.
Tax Planning: Support associates with complex tax planning strategies, offering valuable insights to optimize outcomes for clients.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to streamline processes, share knowledge, and foster a productive, professional work environment.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice and responsive service.
Qualifications:
Active CPA license required
Minimum 6 years of relevant public accounting experience
Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and filing requirements
Experience with CCH software is a plus
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
