Tax Consultant

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Type: Full-time | Onsite

Job Description
• Is responsible for providing tax consulting services while maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepares and reviews Puerto Rico and Federal tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts.
• Prepares and reviews quarterly tax filings and estimated payments.
• Manages and resolves notices and inquiries from Hacienda and the IRS.
• Provides bookkeeping support related to tax and accounting activities.
• Maintains tax compliance calendars and ensures adherence to filing deadlines.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work overtime during peak tax periods as required.
