Position Overview
The Tax Associate III will play a key role in tax compliance, research, and team supervision. This position is designed for a CPA-track professional with 2–5 years of public accounting tax experience who is ready to expand technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop advanced knowledge of Internal Revenue Code sections, tax regulations, and court precedent
Conduct tax research using firm resources and external tax authorities
Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, including:
Individual
Partnership
Corporate
Estate & Trust
Manage more complex tax engagements and projects
Supervise junior staff on tax return preparation and review work for accuracy and compliance
Collaborate closely with firm leadership and partners on client strategies
Contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented culture
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field
150 credit hours / CPA exam eligibility required
2–5 years of tax experience within a CPA or public accounting firm
Strong tax preparation and tax research experience
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client engagements
Leadership potential with strong communication and review skills
Commitment to professional growth and client service excellence
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary: $72,500 – $115,000 depending on experience
