Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our public accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in tax compliance and a desire to continue developing their career in public accounting. The Tax Associate will work closely with senior staff and managers to prepare tax filings and support client engagements across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities

Assist with tax planning, research, and compliance projects

Organize and analyze client financial information and supporting documentation

Communicate with clients to obtain necessary tax data and clarify questions

Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Support senior associates and managers with special projects as needed

Qualifications

1–4 years of experience in public accounting (tax-focused)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (BA/BS required)

CPA-eligible

Strong understanding of federal and state tax concepts

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

Experience with tax preparation software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desire to pursue CPA license
