Our client, a growing Entertainment Industry Focused Business Management firm in Nashville, is seeking a detail-oriented and career-driven Tax Associate to join their collaborative team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2+ years of experience who are passionate about tax and eager to advance their expertise within a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:
Assist in preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and trusts
Organize and maintain tax records and supporting documentation with accuracy
Research tax issues and stay up to date on changes in tax laws and regulations
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in filings
Support senior tax staff and partners with various project-related tasks
Participate in internal training and development to enhance technical and soft skills

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation (CPA firm experience preferred)
Strong interest in building a tax career
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software

Preferred Skills:
Experience as a Tax Staff or Staff Accountant in a CPA firm
