We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate with 2–4 years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing federal, state, and local tax filings for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a proactive approach to client service and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other business tax returns
-Assist with tax planning and research projects
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
-Communicate with clients regarding tax-related matters and documentation
-Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
-Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
-2–4 years of experience in tax preparation (individual and business returns)
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
-CPA certification preferred, but not required
-Strong understanding of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
-Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
