What You’ll Do:
Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns for a variety of clients, including individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and trusts.
Maintain organized tax records and supporting documentation.
Conduct tax research and stay informed on evolving regulations.
Communicate with clients to ensure accurate filings and gather necessary details.
Support senior tax staff and partners on projects while building your technical skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
0–2 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation (internships welcome).
Strong interest in building a long-term career in tax.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive mindset.
Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting software.
Preferred Skills:
Internship or prior CPA firm experience.
Familiarity with tax preparation software (ProSystem fx, UltraTax, or similar).
