We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This position will focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting our business with accurate and timely tax reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys problem-solving in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and/or entities.
-Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liability.
-Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes.
-Prepare and reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
-Support audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities.
-Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or EA preferred).
-2+ years of tax accounting experience (public accounting or corporate tax experience a plus).
-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
-Proficiency with tax preparation software.
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
