We are actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with at least 2 years of experience in tax accounting or tax management to join a well-established, high-volume firm in Tukwila, WA. If you're a CPA or EA who enjoys solving tax puzzles, working with a variety of clients, and thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations
Prepare state excise tax and other compliance filings
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and building relationships
Review and reconcile client QuickBooks files (desktop and online), offering support and training as needed
Collaborate with internal staff and management to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all client interactions
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Active CPA or EA credential
Minimum of 2 years’ experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Proficient in QuickBooks (desktop and online)
Strong understanding of IRS tax codes, forms, and compliance requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable receiving feedback and working collaboratively in a small, high-volume office
