Talent Development Specialist – Direct Hire
We are seeking a forward-thinking Talent Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage programs that drive performance, leadership growth, succession planning, and career development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to connect talent strategies to real business results, build impactful learning programs, and support the growth of employees across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and analytics.
Build and maintain role-based competency frameworks to drive clarity and development.
Develop and manage career pathing initiatives and high-potential talent programs.
Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
Partner with LMS administrators to manage course content, compliance tracking, and learning analytics.
Deliver engaging in-person and virtual learning sessions across departments.
Create dashboards and reports to track learning outcomes and provide insights to leadership.
Support change management strategies to promote talent readiness and cultural alignment.
Coordinate logistics for training events, workshops, and vendor activities.
Promote inclusive, accessible learning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Training & Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in performance management, succession planning, and development programs.
Experience in competency modeling, talent assessments, and leadership development.
Skilled in needs assessments, instructional design, and adult learning principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Experience with LMS platforms, vendor management, and learning analytics.
Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications in ATD, SHRM, or similar are a plus.
Experience in service industries is a bonus.
Physical & Other Requirements:
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
Sit at a computer for extended periods; occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. and support training/event setup.
May require occasional travel to support training or leadership events.
May need to use a personal smartphone for security authentication.
