Position Summary

The Senior Tax Manager will oversee complex federal and international tax compliance and consulting engagements for middle-market clients. This individual will be responsible for managing engagement teams, reviewing technical tax work, advising clients on domestic and international tax matters, and partnering with firm leadership to deliver high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex U.S. international tax filings including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8992, 8993, 1118, 1116, 926, and related reporting.

• Oversee calculations related to GILTI, FDII, Subpart F income, QBAI, E&P, PTEP, basis adjustments, and related tax matters.

• Review international components of consolidated U.S. income tax returns.

• Oversee tax compliance for corporate, partnership, and individual clients.

• Supervise Tax Managers, Seniors, Associates, and engagement teams.

• Review technical workpapers, returns, and tax memorandums.

• Advise clients on federal and international tax matters.

• Manage billing, collections, budgets, and engagement economics.

• Identify opportunities for additional client services and business growth.

• Build strong client relationships and assist with business development initiatives.

• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.

• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and staff development efforts.

• Stay current on tax law changes, IRS guidance, and international developments.

• Support M&A transactions, due diligence projects, and consulting assignments.



Qualifications

• Active CPA license required or in process.

• MST, JD, or LLM in Tax preferred.

• 5 to 8+ years of domestic and/or international tax experience in public accounting.

• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. Tax Code and international reporting requirements.

• Experience with complex international compliance structures.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency with tax software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• High ethical and professional standards.



Work Environment

• Full-time in-office role based in Coral Gables / Miami, Florida.

• Professional public accounting office environment.

• Additional hours may be required during peak deadlines and busy seasons.
