Immediate need for an experienced Surgery Scheduler or Senior level Patient Services Rep at this world-renowned medical organization. This submission will support the department with the following duties:

-Schedule appointments, procedures and follow ups
-Verify insurance and update demographics
-Submit authorizations
-Coordinate pre-operative testing, EKGs, lab work and imagining when necessary
-Request medical records from referring physicians and general providers
-Assist patients with questions about paperwork and general processes
-Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-At least 2 years of recent medical Patient Scheduling experience
-Insurance authorization experience needed for success
-Proficiency with EPIC or another EMR required
