Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate high-volume surgery and procedure scheduling accurately and within required timelines.
- Manage inbound and outbound patient calls related to scheduling, follow-up, and procedure coordination.
- Update patient records, scheduling details, and related documentation in medical systems.
- Verify insurance coverage and research authorization requirements as needed.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, clinical teams, and administrative staff.
- Support additional administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth patient access and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

- $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.

- Coordinate surgery and procedure scheduling for a high-volume healthcare environment.
- Support patient communication, follow-up, and appointment coordination.
- Verify insurance coverage and research procedure authorization requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling updates in medical systems.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant healthcare administrative, surgery scheduling, procedure scheduling, or patient access experience.
- Experience handling patient calls, scheduling coordination, insurance verification, and authorization-related research.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple scheduling priorities with accuracy.
- Professional communication skills when working with patients, providers, clinical staff, and administrative teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office, clinic, hospital, or healthcare services environment.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records, scheduling platforms, and general office systems.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting surgical specialties, procedural departments, or high-volume specialty care scheduling.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and patient access workflows.
- Prior temp-to-hire or contract healthcare experience with a strong record of reliability and professionalism.
