Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Pasadena, CA within the security and surveillance industry. This role supports the procurement, distribution, tracking, storage, and accountability of uniforms, vehicles, equipment, office supplies, records, and other materials essential to successful contract operations.

This is a strong opportunity for a logistics or procurement professional who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment with variety, accountability, and visibility across internal teams. The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with supply chain leadership, operations teams, and vendors to keep inventory accurate, support contract startups and transitions, and ensure critical resources are available when needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing warehouse activity, procurement follow-up, vendor coordination, and inventory system updates. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain supervision, care, control, inspection, and inventory accountability for uniforms, vehicles, office supplies, equipment, and related company property.
- Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, audits, inspections, data entry, warehouse organization, and real-time inventory updates.
- Manage the issuing and return process for uniforms, vehicles, and equipment for new hires, transfers, and terminated employees.
- Coordinate procurement activities for uniforms, vehicle supplies, office products, and other equipment using established and newly developed vendor relationships.
- Assist with special projects including new contract startups, demobilizations, expansion projects, training support, and cross-border logistics needs.
- Prepare complete weekly activity reports for supply chain leadership and maintain records that are accurate, current, and inspection-ready.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage procurement and logistics support for uniforms, vehicles, office supplies, equipment, and related operational materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and support warehouse organization and compliance.
- Coordinate vendor communication, purchasing activity, inventory tracking, and internal customer support.
- Support contract startups, demobilizations, special projects, and operational deadlines.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with pivot tables and formulas, Power BI, and Outlook.
- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems such as Collective Data, SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting procurement and logistics for uniforms, vehicles, and office supplies.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to perform hands-on warehouse tasks and provide practical logistical support.
- Experience with vendor negotiations, vendor onboarding, relationship tracking, and cost-control strategies.
- Excellent customer service, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid U.S. tourist visa required, with ability to travel for up to 2 to 3 weeks at a time.
- Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in security, military, retail, manufacturing, or another high-volume operational environment.
- Prior experience supporting internal stakeholders across operations, field teams, procurement, or contract management.
- Familiarity with Collective Data or similar fleet, warehouse, inventory, or asset management systems.
- Demonstrated success improving inventory accuracy, vendor responsiveness, cost control, or warehouse efficiency.
