We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in the Charlotte, NC area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented supply chain, inventory, procurement, or operations professional who enjoys working with data, purchase orders, suppliers, and inventory planning processes.
The Supply Chain Planning Coordinator will support day-to-day planning activities, inbound shipment visibility, inventory reconciliation, supplier delivery schedules, and reporting. This position offers a hybrid schedule, steady business operations, and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team that values accuracy, communication, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
- Support inventory planning activities by monitoring inventory levels, identifying shortages, and helping resolve supply risks.
- Manage and review purchase order information, supplier delivery schedules, inbound shipments, and advance shipping notices.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track shipment status, delivery timing, and planning updates.
- Reconcile inventory data and assist with reporting to improve visibility into supply chain performance.
- Use Excel and planning data to analyze trends, flag issues, and support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate updates clearly across operations, procurement, and planning teams.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $16.89 to $20.94 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hybrid schedule: Onsite Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.
- Location: Huntersville, NC, in the Charlotte metro area.
- Support inventory planning, purchase orders, inbound shipments, supplier schedules, and supply risk tracking.
- Analyze inventory levels, planning data, shipment information, and reporting using Excel.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support accurate delivery schedules and inventory visibility.
- Identify shortages, reconcile inventory data, and communicate issues that may impact operations.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, inventory management, planning, procurement, or operations.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
- Experience working with purchase orders, inventory levels, supplier or vendor coordination, shipment tracking, or planning data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP or other ERP system experience.
- Exposure to S&OP or SIOP planning processes.
- APICS or ASCM certification.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or operations planning environment.
