Role: Supply Chain Lead
Pay: $42.75 - $62/hr
Anticipated conversion salary range: $96,000–$120,000 annually
Assignment: 8/3/26 - 8/2/27
Location: 290 W Nationwide Blvd, Columbus, OH 43215
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3 days per week)
What you'll do:
• Lead and manage multiple strategic enterprise sourcing initiatives independently.
• Drive value through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management processes.
• Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support sourcing decisions.
• Develop cost models, present findings, and drive business decisions.
• Track and manage supplier performance metrics.
• Establish, facilitate, and support cross-functional category management teams.
• Develop and maintain category plans and monitor ongoing category performance.
• Manage category-related projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery.
• Develop expertise within assigned spend management categories.
• Conduct spend, performance, and external market analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
• Forecast spend, savings, and performance improvements to ensure goals are achieved.
• Develop and execute plans to capture identified savings and performance opportunities.
• Define category requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Build consensus among stakeholders regarding category plans and priorities.
• Lead strategic sourcing and performance improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional sourcing teams to achieve cost, quality, and supplier diversity objectives.
• Maintain supplier agreements, including renewals, negotiations, issue resolution, and contract management.
• Develop and maintain supplier criticality ratings.
• Manage critical supplier relationships and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with suppliers and executive sponsors.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and business partners.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional category management and sourcing teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive decisions and achieve business objectives. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent related work experience.
• Proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to build support and consensus among stakeholders.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
• Highly analytical and self-driven professional.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while meeting timelines and performance expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing large supplier agreements.
• Experience working in a Shared Services organization.
• Supply Chain experience within the utility industry.
• Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing practices.
