Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Student Services Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Greeley, CO. This role supports a student-focused testing environment through administrative coordination, test administration, student communication, records management, and technology support.

The Student Services Specialist is ideal for someone who enjoys helping students, maintaining organized processes, and working in a collaborative education setting. Key Responsibilities

- Maintain current email and telephone correspondence, schedule appointments, update files, process work orders, order supplies, and support daily Testing Center operations.
- Administer pre-test, test day, and post-test procedures while maintaining confidentiality, security, and integrity of exams and student records.
- Verify student identification, guide candidates through check-in and check-out processes, provide approved testing accommodations, and monitor testing areas for compliance.
- Create and maintain data-driven reports, update web pages, prepare presentations on testing protocols, and support special projects.
- Use systems such as vendor databases, WorkDay, Excel, and related tools to enter, retrieve, analyze, and report information.
- Collaborate with IT staff to improve technology use, support automation of manual processes, and assist with software installation, configuration, and updates as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $40,060 per year ($19.26 an hour)
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary (3 month contract - 12/18/2026 ending date)
- Location: Greeley, CO.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support daily student services and testing center operations, including appointments, correspondence, files, supplies, and work orders.
- Administer and monitor testing processes while following established security, confidentiality, and accommodation procedures.
- Maintain reports, records, web content, testing documentation, and system data with accuracy.
- Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, vendors, and internal technology teams.

- 1-2 years of administrative support, student services, customer service, testing center, or related experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures in a secure testing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, data entry, reporting, and general office technology.
- Ability to use databases, student or vendor systems, scanners, copiers, and web-based tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures clearly to students.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student and testing information responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage files, documentation, supplies, and multiple priorities.
- Professional judgment, reliability, and a student-centered approach to service.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a higher education, testing center, student services, or academic support environment.
- Familiarity with placement testing, proctored exams, testing accommodations, or high-stakes testing procedures.
- Experience using WorkDay, vendor testing platforms, Accuplacer, or similar testing and student information systems.
- Experience creating reports, updating website content, or delivering presentations to students or staff.
