We are seeking a driven Staffing Consultant for a direct hire opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a sales-minded professional who enjoys business development, relationship building, recruiting, and the satisfaction of matching companies with the right talent.
As a Staffing Consultant, you will own a full-cycle desk that combines B2B sales, new account development, client consultation, recruiting, and placement delivery. This is a high-activity role for someone who is motivated by goals, energized by outbound prospecting, and excited by the opportunity to build a book of business.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new client accounts through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and relationship-based prospecting.
- Meet with hiring decision-makers to understand staffing needs, hiring challenges, and business goals.
- Present customized staffing and recruiting solutions that align with client workforce needs.
- Negotiate rates, placement terms, and service expectations while managing profitability and client satisfaction.
- Recruit, screen, and match qualified candidates to open positions with client companies.
- Grow and manage an active book of business to drive repeat business, placements, and long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Build and manage a full-cycle staffing desk focused on client development and recruiting delivery.
- Prospect, win, and grow new business accounts in a competitive sales environment.
- Consult with employers on hiring needs and deliver qualified talent solutions.
- Manage client relationships, candidate pipelines, negotiations, and placement activity.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred in B2B sales, business development, recruiting, staffing, or a high-volume sales environment.
- Strong outbound prospecting skills, including phone outreach, LinkedIn activity, networking, and follow-up.
- Hunter mentality with the ability to handle rejection, stay persistent, and pursue new opportunities.
- Consultative communication skills with the ability to ask strong questions and position solutions effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, client needs, candidate pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a professional, goal-oriented, and resilient approach.
- Comfort working in a high-performance environment where activity, results, and accountability matter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, employment services, or workforce solutions.
- Prior success developing new business accounts or managing a sales pipeline.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, or other sales and recruiting tools.
- Interest in long-term career growth within sales leadership, account management, or branch operations.
