Key Responsibilities
Process and manage weekly payroll for approximately 20 employees using ePayroll systems
Handle full-cycle accounts payable (A/P), including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments
Manage accounts receivable (A/R), including invoicing and collections
Perform job cost coding to ensure accurate tracking and allocation of project costs
Record and maintain journal entries and general ledger activity
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
Manage cash deposits and maintain proper documentation and controls
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and reporting
Utilize Sage 100 (Sate 1000) for accounting functions and reporting
Collaborate with project managers through Procore to align financial data with project progress
Process payments using Go Pay
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
Strong experience with financial analysis, general ledger, and journal entries
Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Experience handling payroll processing and cash management
Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
Familiarity with Procore or similar construction project management software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and data analysis functions
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Experience in construction or project-based accounting
