Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience in public accounting preferred
Additional industry accounting experience is a plus
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
Financial statement preparation and account reconciliations experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Experience using accounting and ERP software platforms
Ability to learn and adapt to new financial systems and technologies
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support financial statement preparation and reporting processes
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements
Assist with audits and compliance requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial information
Support accounting system enhancements and future software implementation projects
Maintain internal controls and accounting documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function
