We are hiring a Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports accurately and on time.
* Review budgets each month and share insights with program managers.
* Handle general ledger tasks such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Manage daily accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and payments.
* Help create and update the annual budget with finance and program teams.
* Support audit preparation by gathering documents and organizing reports.
* Work with internal teams and external partners to provide financial information.
* Suggest and help implement process improvements for better efficiency and accuracy.
* Assist the Controller with special projects and other finance-related tasks.
Qualifications:
* At least 3 years of accounting or audit experience.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
* Experience with general ledger, reporting, and account reconciliations.
* Experience supporting annual audits.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
* Non-profit accounting experience is a plus.
