We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to support the Finance team. This mid-level, exempt role reports to the Controller and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities:
-Lead monthly closes, maintain the general ledger, and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
-Prepare funding requests and reports for government and other grants.
-Review ledger postings, evaluate cost allocation, and create custom reports.
-Participate in cross-department projects and suggest process improvements.
-Mentor team members and assist with audits and tax documentation.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or certification highly desirable.
-5+ years of accounting experience, including nonprofit fund accounting.
-Proficient in general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, and Excel; accounting software experience preferred.
-Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
