Job Posting: Staff Accountant – Westlake Village (In-Office Only)
Pay: $35/hr (up to $40/hr for an exceptional candidate)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40–50 hours/week (Overtime paid)
Location: Must live within 15 miles of Westlake Village
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, is highly proficient in QuickBooks, and thrives in a technology-forward, paper-free environment. This role offers stability, growth, and a supportive team committed to maintaining a balanced workload.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills:
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong QuickBooks proficiency (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
Comfortable working in a fully paperless environment
Technologically savvy with strong Microsoft Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable in meeting deadlines
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Team-oriented and able to interact professionally with staff and clients
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow with the company
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with monthly accounting close using established checklists
Prepare and assist with payroll processing
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with or prepare individual and business tax returns and government filings
Administer and maintain accounting workflow
Support additional projects and duties as assigned
