The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepaids
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with GAAP requirements
- Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle ERP
Requirements of the Staff Accountant:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related
- Proficient with Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS
