Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with depreciation calculations.
Collaborate with auditors during audits and provide required documentation.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
