Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and preparing journal entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Proficiency in NetSuite and Excel is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain financial records and assist with month-end close processes
Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
Utilize NetSuite for daily accounting operations and reporting
Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for analysis and reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience in AR, AP, and journal entries
Strong proficiency with NetSuite ERP system
Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills
