We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Professional who excels at navigating complex tax matters and delivering exceptional client service. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload. This is a 100% onsite position, and candidates must be local to the area.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Perform high-volume tax review with accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail
Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations to minimize liabilities
Mentor and support junior staff, offering technical guidance and review
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely filings
Assist with tax planning, projections, and compliance strategies
Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry developments
Qualifications
5–8 years of progressive tax experience, including experience with high-volume tax review
Active CPA license or CPA-eligible (education requirements completed and actively pursuing licensure)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred
Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations
Proficiency with tax software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx, or similar
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be local and able to work onsite 100% of the workday
