We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations while minimizing tax liabilities.
Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues.
Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reviews.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
Support tax planning initiatives and provide recommendations to management.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements within the tax function.
Qualifications
Current and valid CPA license is REQUIRED to be considered.
Must have proven Washington State tax experience and be local to the Seattle/Bellevue area.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
5+ years of progressive tax accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate tax.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Experience with ASC 740 and tax provision software.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
