The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accounting records for up to five corporations including accounts receivable and account payable operations. This position will report to the Controller. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five or more years of advanced accounting experience in areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking and cash management, reconciliations, account analysis, monthly financial statements, audits, and special projects as assigned. Minimum of three years of direct supervision of accounting staff and daily, monthly responsibilities, annual performance reviews and acts as lead in the Controller’s absence. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; advanced accounting skills, spreadsheets, and word-processing. Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, personal initiative, confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to work independently demonstrating mature judgment, prioritize and organize multiple projects. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.
