Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will independently manage the month-end close process across multiple entities within a real estate and storage operating structure. This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of accounting processes, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full month-end and year-end close processes
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and exception analysis
Oversee intercompany allocations between management company and property entities
Maintain audit-ready documentation and organized support files
Ensure adherence to Chart of Accounts and internal procedures
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
Utilize QuickBooks Online and implement automation tools to improve efficiency
Qualifications
5–10 years of progressive accounting experience
5+ years of QuickBooks Online experience (required)
Multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to work full-time on-site in Monterey Park
Preferred
Property management or real estate accounting experience
Process improvement mindset
Experience using automation tools within accounting workflows
