Bilingual Multistate Payroll Specialist (Spanish Required)
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) multistate payroll specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with executive leadership, and is dedicated to delivering accurate and compliant payroll services. This role is ideal for someone ready to make an immediate impact and contribute to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately review and verify employee timecards and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
Process payroll data and ensure timely direct deposit execution.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including garnishments and adjustments.
Coordinate with HR to process final pay for employee separations.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay stubs, W-2s, and earnings statements.
Maintain up-to-date records for new hires and personnel files.
Generate reports on headcount, vacation, and sick leave balances.
Support HR during audits and legal reviews by providing required payroll documentation.
Assist with payroll-related data entry and reporting during month-end close.
Qualifications:
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
Immediate availability is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience, including multistate processing.
High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF).
Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paylocity is preferred (training available).
Strong written communication and professional email etiquette.
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy in all tasks.
