Job Title: Soldering Technician
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $21 – $28 DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Soldering Technician to join our team in Santa Barbara. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and assembly work, with a focus on precision, quality, and attention to detail. You will play a key role in supporting production by assembling and soldering components to meet company and client specifications.
Responsibilities:
Perform soldering of electronic components and assemblies in accordance with industry standards
Inspect and test completed work to ensure quality and reliability
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Handle small parts and delicate components with accuracy and care
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing assemblies as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of soldering or electronic assembly experience required
Proficiency with hand soldering tools and techniques
Ability to read and follow technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and steady hand coordination
Knowledge of IPC standards (preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
