J-STD Certified Solderer

-Location: Camarillo, CA

-Pay: $24-28/hr DOE

-Schedule: 1st shift with daily overtime hours


-We are currently seeking a J-STD Certified Solderer to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing precision soldering on electronic assemblies while maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.


-Qualifications:
• Current or previous IPC J-STD-001 Certification required.
• Experience soldering through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Comfortable working with microscopes and small electronic components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• IPC-A-610 Certification is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality systems.

Additional Skills

Responsibilities:
• Perform hand soldering of electronic components in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 standards.
• Assemble, solder, and inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and blueprints.
• Inspect solder joints to ensure quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Rework and repair electronic assemblies as needed.
• Utilize microscopes and precision hand tools for detailed assembly work.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality control standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
