Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Developer for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR, supporting mission-critical applications within the healthcare services industry. This role is ideal for a backend-focused developer with 3 to 5 years of experience who enjoys building high-performance systems, optimizing databases, integrating APIs, and solving complex technical challenges in a production environment.

The Software Developer will contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of applications that process high-volume transactional data. This opportunity offers the chance to work with experienced technical teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and participate in Agile development practices, code reviews, release planning, and CI/CD initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems primarily built in C++.
- Design and support web applications, backend services, and multi-tier software architectures.
- Develop, integrate, and support REST and SOAP APIs and Web Services.
- Optimize MS SQL Server databases for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex application, database, and system issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Location: Guaynabo, PR.
