Social Worker
• Availability to work in San Juan, Bayamón, Carolina, and Caguas
Salary:
• Provisional License: $12.50 – $13.46 per hour
• Permanent License: $28,000 – $30,000 annually (Exempt)

Summary:
We are seeking a Social Worker to support community development and individual well-being through direct fieldwork, case management, and inter-agency collaboration. This role involves empowering residents, facilitating community engagement, and fostering social responsibility in underserved areas. The ideal candidate will provide professional support and guidance while promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct community outreach and field assessments to identify social needs.
• Support individuals and families in organizing for their benefit and well-being.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and provide accurate, timely documentation.
• Encourage resident engagement and preventive efforts in community spaces.
• Interview, advise, and prepare reports and referrals as needed.
• Promote social interaction and human connection to enhance quality of life.
• Work independently and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work completed
• Valid Social Worker License in Puerto Rico (Provisional or Permanent)
• Member of the Puerto Rico Social Work Professionals Association
• Minimum 1 year of experience in social work or community outreach
• Experience working with families and regulatory agencies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and Spanish)
• Field investigation and interview techniques knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Own transportation required
• Availability to work in San Juan, Bayamón, Carolina, and Caguas
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
