We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Specialist to join Team to support managing best in class social content that resonates with our audience and furthers mission.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of creating, managing and optimizing content for social media platforms and adapting emerging trends for a brand. As the Social Media Specialist, you will support the Social Team by managing the day-to-day social content creation, production, scheduling, and community moderation for owned social media platforms.
What You’ll Do
Create and optimize social content for Robinhood’s social media channels, including X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn and Facebook, to increase engagement, brand awareness, and follower growth among core audience.
Craft and schedule engaging social media copy for owned social media platforms.
Manage social content calendar to ensure that tapping into emerging trends and relevant moments in pop culture, and finance.
Maintain active presence across owned social media channels, including moderating comments, and mentions.
Collaborate with the Creative team to produce high quality static and video content.
Monitor and report all social analytics and use the data to make informed, strategic recommendations for social content strategy and tactics.
What You Bring
2-3+ years of proven experience as a social media specialist with a background in social media management, in finance or fintech, tech, or entertainment, .
Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager, Sprinklr, X Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Sprout Social.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft bold and irreverent social media copy across all social media platforms.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of the financial, fintech or tech industry is required.
The role is located in the following office locations (Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY) which will align with our in-office working environment.
6 month contract (could extend)
Pay: $45-60/hour (based on experience)
