Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate slitter machines to cut materials according to customer specifications.
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality, accuracy, efficiency, and consistent output.
- Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, measurements, and job specifications.
- Inspect finished products to confirm they meet quality standards and production requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Set up and operate slitter machinery in a production or converting environment.
- Monitor production quality and make adjustments to maintain customer specifications.
- Read work orders, production schedules, and measurements accurately.
- Inspect finished materials and support safe, efficient production flow.

- 1 to 2 years of relevant manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
- Previous slitter machine operation or converting experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience operating slitter, rewinder, converting, or similar production equipment.
- Basic maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and production documentation.
